  • An incredibly full-bodied Barbera, matured in stainless steel tanks. This classic tastes like you would expect a very good Barbera to taste! Well integrated acidity, structure, balance and a delicious finish! Low price! No wonder that this Barbera has been the flagship of the winery for years.

    The grapes used to make Roberto Ferrari's Barbera d'Asti Nobbio 2023 DOCG red wine come from 80-year-old vines that still produce berries of the highest quality. Harvested by hand in September, the grapes are gently pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is also aged in stainless steel tanks and lasts one year. After a short period of bottle storage, it is then released for sale. The Barbera is then ready to drink immediately and for the next ten years. Drinking window: 2024-20333

    Roberto Ferrari's Barbera d'Asti Nobbio 2022 DOCG was chosen as Barbera of the Year by the renowned American wine magazine "Wine Spectator". After that, many winemakers in Monferrato began to age Barbera wines in steel barrels again, as is tradition.

    The family-run winery Roberto Ferraris is located in the hills of the municipality of Agliano Terme in the Monferrato wine-growing region. Barbera D'Asti has its origins in Monferrato and here this grape variety finds the best climatic and geological conditions to produce high-quality Barbera wines. Roberto Ferraris is considered the Barbera expert par excellence and produces five authentic but stylistically different Barbera wines of the highest quality.

    Nobbio goes very well with pasta with meat sauces, baked or grilled poultry, Mediterranean starters.
