This excellent Barbera red wine has been an integral part of the Rocca family's wine range for many decades.
The berries for this wine are picked by hand from the Loreto vineyard. The family owns about one hectare of vineyards there, which is planted with old Barbera vines.
Fermentation takes place in open fermentation tanks with subsequent maturation for 12 months in 3000 liter oak barrels from Austria. The final maturation process then takes place in the bottle for six months.
This Barbera D'Alba 2020 red wine is characterized by its fine fruit, which is particularly harmonious on the palate. A supple and full-bodied wine with fine tannins; Lively and refreshing, well-integrated acidity and round finish. An impressive vintage!
