  • Chionetti Vigna La Costa Dolcetto Dogliani 2018 DOCG is a very harmonious and full-bodied Dolcetto of the extra class.

    The grapes come from the Vigna la Costa vineyard, which is located a good 400m above sea level. The vines have an average age of 50 years and produce berries of the highest quality.

    The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of September and then destemmed and lightly pressed. Fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The expansion takes place in large oak barrels and lasts 2 years. The Dolcetto is not filtered and is finally sold after six months of bottle aging.

    This organic wine has very complex notes, is very balanced, concentrated with fine-grained tannins and a long finish. A top-class Dolcetto. The Dolcetto is ready to drink immediately and for the next 8 years. A good accompaniment to lamb, poultry, risotto and aged cheeses.
