    The Roberto Ferraris Barbera D'Alba Superiore La Cricca 2019 DOCG is made from the best Barbera grapes of the winery, which are carefully selected during the manual harvest in September. These grapes are then immediately transported to the cantina transported, destemmed and gently pressed. The fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and then the wine is aged in French barrique barrels for a year. This is followed by six months of bottle storage before the Barbera goes on sale.

    This high quality Barbera has a ruby ​​red color with violet reflections. Its complex spectrum of aromas ranges from fruity and berry to balsamic and spicy. The wine impresses with its density and structure, has fine tannins and an excellently integrated acidity. Its reverberation is beautifully long with a pleasant, slightly spicy tone. La Cricca is ready to drink immediately and for the next 15 years. A wonderful accompaniment to roasts, lamb, game and red meat. The winery practices integrated viticulture and uses no herbicides, fungicides and pesticides in the vineyard and no additives in wine production.
