The grapes for the Colli Tortonesi Derthona Timorasso come exclusively from a family vineyard planted in the town of Montagnola, near the historic winery.
The hand harvest takes place in the third decade of September and the grapes are harvested in boxes of 15 kg each. The grapes are then gently pressed, followed by a static cold decantation of the must and a slow fermentation that takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
The wine then ages in steel containers for a year, alternating with decanting and phases of aging on the noble lees; After bottling, the wine continues to develop in the bottle for about a year.
This Derthona Timorasso has an intensely bright straw yellow color. On the nose it has fine, intense and complex notes of pear, fresh almonds and the characteristic mineral nuances of this grape variety. The taste is full-bodied, rich and balanced, with an acid taste perfectly integrated into the structure of the wine. Drinking window: 2021-2031
